john give ins and trammel mcclough bolted from the courthouse yesterday into a get away car which they kichd for a get away truck. the union for the sheriff's deputies say low staffing levels most likely played a role in the escape. the union says staffing has been a concern tor years and they are there are not enough deputies torg around. the sheriff says that particular courthouse was overstaffed yesterday. yet the inmates managed to elude the deputies. the deputies union said the inmates had nothing to lose by escaping since they were facing long prison sentences for alleged crimes, which include armed robbery. a high-end women's spa with unwanted services .santa clara prosecutors say they're putting a mass use behind bars for groping a client. he worked at santana row.

>> yeah it's going to be beautiful. rainfall, you guys it's still on track heading through tomorrow. but not only the wet weather but increasing wind as well pl let's look at the microclimate forecast. and any of that you have had our app open and you've been looking at our radar in maps tool you have seen this storm system and how massive it is. it stretches over 1,600 miles wide in the pacific. it isn't necessarily a strong storm overall. for us it's more moderate impact once it gets here. but not only is it wet weatheren on wednesday and thursday but another chance on sunday and monday. remember we have the scrolling seven-day forecast at the bottom of the screen. you can preview that. right now i'll take you into tomorrow morning. mainly increase here in cloud cover throughout the bay. that's the biggest change. not as cold. south bay starts off at 52. for the tri-valley still a kmily 49. throughout the north by 47.

we may get isolated drizzle and mist through san francisco and the north bay. those will be the first spots picking up wet weather. let's take you through the future cast. the hour by hour look shows the cloud cover starting at 6:00 a.m. by 9:30 in the morning maybe a little bit here up in the north by. but really holding off for the afternoon hours for this to start to bring some rainfall returns up into marin, napa, sonoma counties. close to san francisco. and then once we hit 11:30 at night the cold front beginning to move down wet weather for the north bay, san francisco and the east by. and some rainfall beginning to develop in san jose. at this point i really think from 11:30 on wednesday through about 4:00 a.m. on thursday that's going to be the best chance to get some accumulations throughout the bay area. and we'll hold onto lingering spotty showers thursday at 8:00 in the morning. the big question always across the bay area with the microclimates what do the rainfall totals looks like in

many still wide ranging totals but models across the board show similar results. good on the confidence level of getting this wet weather. about a quarter irj to a tenth for the south about i process. in our .4 for san francisco and oakland. and closer to the .75 through santa rosa. wednesday night into early thursday morning. with wind kicks up wednesday evening. gusts, 15 to 30-mile-per-hour. i think that hangs on to early thursday at 5:00 a.m. as well. temperatures tomorrow as the system moves in cool off about three to six degrees. that brits us mid-60s inland low 60s on the coastline. on the extended forecast we dry out here through most of friday and saturday. then another chance of rainfall by 10:00 p.m. on sunday into monday. and you can see for the inland valleys we are also looking at the chance here of some wet weather sunday night into monday. we are become with more newsright after the break.
